Here are the rules. They are here for a reason, not for entertainment, and not for you to read them whenever you feel like it. Before you join this RPG, I suggest that you read over them and make sure that by signing up you aren't breaking any. Once you've joined this RPG, you are saying that you've read and agreed to all of these rules. If you have any questions, or complaints, go to this link:
1. No one-liners.
This means that your posts can not be only one sentence long. You must make all of your posts atleast ten sentences long. It's easier when you describe things, like what your character is wearing, and what the weather is, etc.
2. Do not power-play.
Don't power-play. It is when you control someone elses character. Use attempts. Let the other person control their own character, so there are no complaints.
Example of what NOT to do: Mary grabbed Alex by the arm and slammed her head into the wall, until she started screaming and then died.
Example of what TO do: Mary reached for Alex's arm. She grabbed for her head next, and if she succeeded in grabbing her head, she would begin to slam it into the wall until she started to scream.
3. No Mary-Sue characters.
A Mary-Sue character is a character that is absolutely perfect. She can be the most gorgeous girl in the world, and make no mistakes, and she can do anything that she wants to. Do not make a perfect character; it will be deleted.
4. Don't role play in first person.
You can not role play in first person. Only third person.
Example of what NOT to do: I walked up to James and smiled at him, "Hey James, what's up?" I asked him.
Example of what TO do: Hazel walked up to James and smiled at him, "Hey James, what's up?" she asked him.
5. No netspeak is to be used during role play.
That means that word such as lol, brb, afk, or anything else like that aren't allowed to be used IC (In character). You can go to an OOC (Out of character) board if you really want to netspeak that badly. I consider it to be lazy if you can't spell a word out, but go ahead OOCly. Not ICly, or else the post will be deleted.
6. Signature sizes (MUST BE READ).
Alrighty, well.. this is odd, I never thought I'd be making this rule, but it's out of control on some of my other RPGs. It ruins the boards, and I like them to look neat and clean. I don't want to have to scroll down a page and only see a signature.. it's stupid. The size limit is, 556 x 190. Get a graphics moderator to make one for you if you need to.
7. IMPORTANT RULE:
If a thread says 'closed', it means that the thread is meant for a certain group of people. This means you aren't allowed to post there without permission, so don't, or else the people of the thread can ignore your post. If it says 'open', it means anyone is allowed to post there.
